While it’s cold out, you need to get creative about going on dates. My friend went out with a Criminal Investigator, and she told me of how she admired his creativeness on their recent dates. This gets me to think of some creative dates:
- Puzzles - The more complicated and hard, the more repeat dates you could suggest if having fun and enjoying yourself.
- Ice Skating - Take a thermos of hot chocolate to warm up after you have shown off your moves. If you've never been before, it’s a new learning experience for the both of you.
- Sledding - Bundle up in lots of layers and bring some hot coffee to sip between trips down the hill. Join neighborhood kids as you fly down the snow covered hills, but remember sledding precautions.
- Newspaper puzzles - These can be fun when sitting on the couch together and enjoying each other's company.
- Fondue dinner - You can pick up a fondue dinner pot for a reasonable price. Dress up in 70s attire and enjoy a little disco dancing in your living room while enjoying Sonny & Cher.
- Indoor picnic - Clear out an area in the living or dining room and lay down a picnic mat. Enjoy dishes that you would typically have in the summer, such as pasta salad and cold sandwiches.
- Hookah lounge - This could be a new adventure for you both. It isn't a very healthy idea, but it is possibly safer than cigarette smoke. I've never heard of it before, so I looked up some common facts about it.
- Oxygen bars are popping up all around. It seems like a promising experience just to say you've tried.
- Scavenger hunt - Can be very fun to take pictures of items from a list as you go around town together in search of items.
- Roast marshmallows by candle light and enjoy. Maybe even play a campfire DVD as background noise.
