Where To Find a Date

When you are single, sometimes you’re left wondering if there are any decent guys left in the world. Where do you find these great single guys? The same guy may be wondering where the great single women are. The secret is that they are everywhere! They are at the gym, the grocery store, the laundry mat, even at Wal-Mart! On second thought, maybe avoid Wal-Mart sometimes. Sometimes they are busy looking up fbi agency requirements. People are busy living their lives, yet there are so many opportunities to find people all around you. Carpe Diem, seize the day! Life your life and take a chance. 

Have you put your best effort forward this year? Some people have regrets for 2011. Maybe you had a wonderful conversation with a hot guy at the laundry mat, and then choked when you thought about asking him for his number or to hang out like I did. Maybe you dated a guy you thought was wonderful, and quickly became a jerk. I have some regrets; I wish I would have followed my best friend's advice more. 

2012 will be the year that I try to put forward some real effort into dating and being more successful. I will ask that hot guy at the laundry mat next time if he wants to get a coffee. If someone is not worth my time then they can get lost. I know what I have to offer, and if a guy can't see and appreciate it, then I'll find someone else who can. I am a giving woman, always jumping to do what I can to help people I care about. Yet I have a hard time asking for help. Maybe that will be my New Year's Resolution, to ask for a favor or help more often.

So where do you find the people worth your time? There is no right or wrong answer except through living life. It depends on the person, sometimes online dating is right for them. Other people prefer to be hooked up by a mutual friend. Some people like to look at the bar or club. My best suggestion is to keep an open eye and mind. Maybe the person standing in line behind you in Subway tomorrow is checking you out!
